Introduced in 2021 as the most focused iteration of the 718 generation, the Cayman GT4 RS marked the first time Porsche's Motorsport division fitted the 911 GT3's 4.0-litre flat-six to the mid-engined chassis. Process air intakes positioned directly behind the occupants, a swan-neck rear wing and extensive weight reduction give the car a character closer to a homologation special than a road-going Cayman. With the 718's combustion era now concluded, the GT4 RS stands as the high-water mark of the model line.
